Description
Designed exclusively for the Preservation Society of Newport County, this ornament features Elizabeth Drexel Lehr of Paris, New York and Newport. The ornament is inspired by a stunning portrait of Lady Decies by the leading Belle Époque portraitist Giovanni Boldini. The original portrait is in the ballroom of The Elms, Newport, Rhode Island.
Made by hand and based out of London, our line of embroidered ornaments use a number of fabrics, including cotton, felt, silks, satins, and velvets decorated with beads, braids, metal and silk threads. All of these decorations are completely handmade, and the time taken to make each one is reflected in their unique quality.
