The Breakers Green Acorn Bone China Coasters - Set of 4
Newport Mansions Store Exclusive
Protect your surfaces in Gilded Age style with the Newport Mansions Store's exclusive The Breakers Green Acorn Bone China Coaster Set. Inspired by the opulent interiors of The Breakers, this elegant collection showcases four coordinating designs featuring rich emerald green hues, intricate gold detailing, and the iconic acorn motifs found throughout the Vanderbilt family's celebrated Newport estate.
Built between 1893 and 1895 for Cornelius Vanderbilt II and designed by renowned architect Richard Morris Hunt, The Breakers incorporates acorns as a recurring decorative symbol. Representing strength, longevity, and the promise of growth, the acorn reflects the Vanderbilt family motto: "Great oaks from little acorns grow."
Crafted from fine new bone china with a protective cork backing, these coasters combine beauty and functionality. Each coaster features a unique design inspired by architectural and decorative elements found within The Breakers, making them a striking addition to any coffee table, desk, or entertaining space. Whether used daily or displayed as part of a collection, they bring a touch of Newport's most iconic mansion into your home.
Presented in custom packaging, it also makes a beautiful gift or collectible piece from The Breakers Green Acorn Collection.
