Autumn Meadows Acorn Covered Soup Bowl

Autumn Meadows Acorn Covered Soup Bowl

Lift the lid and let the season pour out. The Autumn Meadows Acorn Soup Bowls are among the most enchanting pieces in the collection — a stoneware vessel sculpted in the precise, plump form of the autumn acorn, measuring 6.5 by 6.5 by 6.25 inches and holding 22 generous ounces beneath a richly textured, deep-brown cap that seals in every degree of warmth and every note of fragrance.

Set at the table before the first course, they create genuine anticipation — the rounded silhouette, the deeply textured lid, the quiet suggestion of something wonderful waiting inside. Then lift the cap, and release the fragrant steam of a chestnut bisque, a wild mushroom broth, or a slow-simmered autumn stew. The moment is theatrical, joyful, and thoroughly memorable. These are the pieces guests lean across the table to admire, the ones that end up in photographs of the table before the meal begins. This is the harvest table at its most completely, joyfully, beautifully itself.
