Description
The "Votes for Women" motto was used in 1909 at the famous suffrage rally at Marble House in Newport, Rhode Island.
This soft blue T-shirt is based on the vintage pin from the early women’s suffrage movement, encouraging women to claim their right to vote and rise up against a system that placed political power primarily in the hands of white men. After years of rallies, persistence, jail sentences, and lobbying, the suffragettes were granted the right to vote in the United States in 1920.
This t-shirt has a v-neck and sports a slightly fitted look.
