Every pair is meticulously handmade by the artisans of Mosaico, in a workshop founded by Gloria Higuera and David Mercer, who blended artistic vision with the centuries‑old silversmithing traditions of Taxco, Mexico. Drawing on more than 40 years of artistic tradition, Mosaico blends the centuries‑old silver‑working techniques of Taxco with modern, playful color.
The process begins by forming a sterling silver bezel by hand laminating, shaping, and soldering each piece with traditional craftsmanship. After polishing the silver to a brilliant shine, artisans begin the intricate work of hand‑setting each crystal and microbead, creating the stunning, colorful mosaic that gives this collection its name.
