Bring home a piece of America's Cup history with this beautifully detailed model! The British Shamrock V was the last entry by Sir Thomas Lipton of Lipton Tea to challenge for the America's Cup in 1930. After 5 tries, Sir Lipton was confident he would finally win the Cup he yearned after. After taking the lead against the Enterprise, the Shamrock V crashed into the docks of Newport Harbor, when Lipton finally gave up his quest after his fifth loss. Easy to assemble, the sails have brass hooks which connet to eye loops installed on the deck and is mounted on a wooden stand with the ship's name. The model is crafted with precise details and includes an instructional assembly card.
