Designed exclusively for the Preservation Society of Newport County, this tray features the rolling wave motif. This pattern, used as a decorative carving in the Marble House and The Elms, is based on a classical Roman design known as the Vitruvian scroll after the Roman architect Vitruvius. The architects used this motif to signify the houses' relationship to the sea. The tray comes packaged in a beautiful gift box featuring the same design.
